The DPC-20 is an integrated programmer capable of testing and configuring servo actuators using PWM, TTL, RS485, and CAN communication protocols. Unlike traditional programmers, DPC-20 offers a unified platform to seamlessly interact with various servo actuator series. This programmer is compatible with various Hitec servo actuator series including:

• HS-5/7/9XXX Series
• D/MD Series
• D/MD-485 Series
• CAN Series

UI SOFTWARE COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS ONLY

• Not compatible with macOS, Linux or other operating systems.

NOTE: Please disconnect the USB cable from the DPC-20 and reconnect it when changing the UI.

DPC-20 DroneCAN / CAN - Servo Setup for ArduPilot

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Hardware Type: PC USB-C to 3-pin (PWM/TTL) and 4-pin (RS485/CAN) interface.
• Capable of configuring and testing HITEC digital servo actuators.
• Compatible with various control methods (PWM, RS485, CAN), offering a seamless transition from legacy DPC-11, DPC-485, and DPC-CAN units.
• Different servo actuator series require dedicated UI programs due to variations in communication protocols.
  

• Ensure you connect the appropriate power supply to the DPC-20 for the connected servo actuator.

• For servo actuators (5/7 Series, 9 Series, D/MD Series), connect to the 3-pin port on the DPC-20, and connect the power supply to the BAT- and BAT+ pins on the 4-pin port, paying careful attention to polarity.

• DPC-20 Wiring Diagrams are located on the DPC-20 UI HUB DOCUMENTATION.

DPC-11 Driver Installation with Windows® 10/64 20H2 Troubleshooting – May, 19 2021
**OCTOBER 2020 UPDATE: Windows® 10/64 20H2 has been known to have issues with the DPC-11 driver installation. If your DPC-11 does not connect to your PC, perform the following instructions to correct the issue:

1. Go to Windows Settings and select 'Update and Security'
2. Select 'View Optional Updates' on the Windows Update page.
3. On the Optional Updates page select the 'Drivers Update' drop down.
4. Download and install the Silicon Labs Driver update for USBXpress.

Your DPC-11 should now connect to your PC.

How To Enable .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.5 in Windows

If the promt above appears, please follow these steps for troubleshooting assistance:

1. From the Windows desktop, type Control Panel in the search box in the lower right and then select Control Panel.
2. From the Control Panel, click Programs and Features.
3. When the Programs and Features window comes up, click Turn Windows Features On or Off.
4. Then check .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) and click OK.
5. Next, you’ll need to download files from Windows Update.
6. Wait while the previous versions of .NET Framework are downloaded and installed.
7. A restart might be required.

All programming, endpoint adjustments, and servo testing are done directly on the device using its built-in LCD screen and jog dial. The USB port on the HFP-30 is only meant for potential future firmware updates issued by Hitec.

   • Added Mixing Function for mechanical brakes on 1/5 and 1/8 scale electric vehicles. Now you can apply the brake mixing function using a servo in electric vehicles.
