The DCX2 1600 is a high-powered, dual-port DC charger delivering advanced battery management for RC hobbyists. Running from any 9–49V DC power source, it supplies up to 1100 watts on a single channel or 1600 watts across both. Charge two packs at up to 32 amps per port, or combine both ports in parallel mode to push 33–50 amps into a single 2–8S lithium pack.
Charge LiPo, LiHV, LiFe and Li-ion packs from 1 to 8 cells, NiMH/NiCd packs up to 20 cells, and 3/6/12-cell lead-acid batteries. Reverse discharging moves up to 1100W from one battery into the battery on the other channel, reducing wasted energy, and with an AD380 or AD350 connected, Channel A discharges at up to 40 amps. Battery resistance metering, an external temperature sensor port and built-in Bluetooth control through Hitec's LinkPowerX app round out a charger built for aggressive cycling and detailed pack analysis.
The DCX2 1600 also works as an adjustable 5–36V power supply for tire warmers and other pit gear (up to 32A / 1100W), and its 100W USB-C PD 3.0 port charges mobile devices. An XT90 DC input cord with 4mm bullets is included; a DC power supply and parallel charging cable are sold separately.
