The RDX4 1000 is a high-power four port AC/DC charger built for dedicated RC hobbyists who need to charge multiple battery packs quickly and efficiently. It delivers up to 500 watts from household AC power and up to 1000 watts from a 9–36V DC power supply. Four independent ports charge four batteries at once: Ports B and C deliver up to 25 amps (500W each on DC), while Ports A and D deliver up to 15 amps (250W each).
Connect any mix of LiPo, LiHV, LiFe and Li-ion packs from 1 to 6 cells, NiMH/NiCd packs up to 15 cells, or 3/6/12-cell lead-acid batteries. Lithium packs get Balance Charge, Charge, Storage and Discharge modes with an integrated individual-cell balancer, nickel packs get Re-Peak and charge/discharge cycling, and lead-acid batteries get dedicated AGM and Cold Charge programs. A flip-up backlit display keeps settings and charge status easy to read in challenging lighting, and reverse discharging on Ports B and C transfers energy from one battery into another, reducing wasted energy.
The RDX4 1000 also doubles as a power supply for pit gear like tire warmers (up to 30V @ 6A), and its 100W USB-C PD 3.0 port charges phones, tablets and other mobile devices. Battery resistance metering, terminal voltage control, capacity cut-off and a safety timer help you monitor pack health and charge with confidence, and firmware updates are handled through Hitec Charge Manager software.
